JOSEPH’S
STOREHOUSE PROJECT
Through the Joseph’s Storehouse Project we provide aid to the poor and needy Jewish and Arab people living in the nation of Israel today. Many of them are struggling as orphans and widows, homeless and handicapped, senior citizens and geriatric patients as well as new immigrants and finally, victims of terrorism and their families. Through the relief and assistance of The Joseph Storehouse; food, clothing, toiletries, kitchen and household items, blankets, towels, linens, and toys are some of the supplies we distribute on a weekly basis. |
|
Our
goal is to bring relief during times of crisis
for those living under Israel's "poverty
line" and also providing the general population
lacking life's basic necessities. The needs arise
as a result of terrorism, war, unemployment, health
problems, personal needs, increased immigration
– to only name a few. Each case is unique,
requiring the personal care and attention that
we sincerely offer.
We
are active in these area’s;
_ Family Welfare (helping families)
_ Pack to School (helping school children)
_ Helping Victims of Terrorism
_ Emergency and Medical Relief
Your
donations help many who simply need a hand up.

“He
raises the poor out of the dust and lifts the
needy out of the dunghill.” - Psalms 113:7 |

CHEVRA
“Aid for Holocaust Survivors”
Chevra, meaning friendship, is dedicated to helping the
multitudes of Jewish people throughout the former Soviet
Union, that are facing persecution, being denied jobs,
housing, food, and medical care.
It is estimated there are thousands of survivors of the Holocaust still alive today and are subsisting in incredibly desperate situations. Each month about one percent of these people pass on. Too often, their last years have been spent in nearly the same conditions in which they survived in the camps. These, who suffered so much, continue to suffer---don’t they deserve better? We can help ease their last years. We can do something to care for their daily needs supporting them in tangible ways.
CHEVRA provides the following services;
- Soup Kitchens (in the former Soviet Union)
- Aliyah Project (from the former Soviet Union)
- Israel Housing Project
- Education

ALIYAH PROJECT
“HELP FOR THE JOURNEY HOME”
Jewish People living in the former Soviet Union have had
a very difficult life of persecution and deprivation.
For a Jew, Aliyah, immigrating to Israel, is a dream and
a hope of a better life. This is where the Aliyah assistance
program of Chevra comes to the rescue. We assist all Jews
seeking to make Aliyah by transporting them to boats or
airports. This most often includes helping them locate
and collect all their personal information and documents
necessary for filling out the paperwork to acquire their
passports, and any other red tape they might encounter.
Though there are still Jews returning from Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union, there are also Jewish people in other parts in the world wishing to return. We seek to help where ever the need is.

In
the past generation a new era began as God called His
people back to their own land, the land promised to
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. As many Jewish people heeded
and are heeding the prompting to go, they face enormous
challenges.
Many come with nothing, like immigrants from Russia
and Ethiopia, escaping persecution, only to enter a
land surrounded by nations that hate them. Good jobs
are scarce. Over 20% of the population is impoverished. |
